Tournament Teams Tryouts:

In 2012, all tournament team tryouts for grades 3-6 will be in conjunction with the league tryouts.  There will be no separate tryouts for league and tournament teams.  League coaches will evaluate all players for the league draft at the same time as the High School coaches will be evaluating all players for the tournament teams.  All other tournament team bylaws will be the same as in 2011 - grades 3-6 to have up to two teams per grade.  However, if there are not enough players for two teams in a grade and combining multiple grades cannot make another team (ie a 10U team made up of 9 and 10 year olds), then there will be a maximum of 15 tournament capable players on a team.  Grades 7 & 8 will continue to have one tournament team with a maximum of 12 players on the team.  All players will also still be able to determine if they would like to play on a tournament team based on their age or on their grade.  The cutoff for age is a player’s age as of April 30, 2012.  It is highly encouraged that boys play with their grade once they reach 7th grade.

AYB no longer provides uniform pants for all leagues with the exception of our legion teams.  Please remember that all players must have white baseball pants for all games.
